David F. Hoag II PA-C, Family Medicine
David Hoag is a certified Physician Assistant and specializes in family medicine. He has been practicing medicine for 19 years. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1998. In 2001, he earned his Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, MI. David has been practicing medicine as a Physician Assistant since 2001. He is a member of the National Academy of Physician Assistants.
Prior to working in family medicine, he spent 13 years working as a PA in the Emergency department and in cardio thoracic surgery. He decided to move into family medicine so that he could have more of a relationship with his patients and to closely manage and follow their care. “I wanted to establish a smaller family practice so that I could treat the members of my community and provide more personalized and complete healthcare.” “As a patient, you can expect to be greeted with a caring and professional staff. You will get my undivided attention during your appointment. My staff and I will be responsive to all of your concerns and calls and treat you in the office as quickly as possible.”
David lives in Hampstead with his wife, Lainie, and their four children. He and his family love living in this area and especially enjoy the beach and fresh seafood. In his free time he enjoys spending quality time with his family, reading, and watching his kids in their sports and activities. They love the small town feel of the community while enjoying all that the Carolina coast has to offer.
